I wish this would have no sweeteners. I think the good impact is minimized, because the tongue can't feel as much bitter as needed to start producing saliva and have other benefits... That could be true in the stomach area as well. i prefer mercola's bitters. Also - I prefer bitters without senna, because it could make me addicted to senna for passing stools. I would not want to risk that.
I have used these bitters for over 15 years. They are a superb digestive aid. It worked wonders for me while pregnant, helping with nausea and appetite. I don’t take them daily but just when I feel like I need them. There is no need for any other digestive aid. This brand is the best quality and I love the ingredient list. These are alcohol free which makes it better.
This is one great mix of herbs, to help us produce and secrets more enzymes. As we get older we lose those enzymes needed to digest the food. Bitters are great way to keep my husbands blood pressure normal, when his digestion makes him upset and is BP spikes up. Will be ordering more...don't like the price!
