This cacao powder is average in both taste and texture. It offers a mild chocolate flavor and blends adequately, though not perfectly smooth. It is suitable for basic recipes and general use, but does not offer the depth or richness of higher-end cacao products.
I'm very much hunting for an excellent cacao powder. To me that entails a combination of fantastic taste, smell, along with any evidence of heavy metal or mold testing. Cacao can end up with both if not sourced well. I make a smoothie every morning for breakfast and I like to add Cacao powder for flavor and to get some good magnesium. I won't buy this on again, the taste was 'meh'.
After buying dutch processed cocoa powder and then this fermented one, I'll never go back to buying dutch. I find this nicer in taste and I take comfort that the fermentation and low processing means more nutrients is retained. Price is a bit higher but I think the quality speaks for itself. Serving size is adequate for me - lasts 3 months. I buy this to make chocolate.

honestly this has been my go to every morning for the last year. its so easy to mix as well. and it being fermented is truly a bonus.
