My grand daughter is on salt restricted diet due to a health condition. She loves salty things so it has been a difficulty adjustment for her at 4 years of age. She absolutely loves Spike though and it has helped her to still enjoy her favourite foods and meals without salt.
Wasn't a fan of the taste. Something in the ingredient tasted overpowering. The quality is ok, but the flavor is not to my liking. The ingredients are simple, and there is no sugar or other harmful additives, so there are benefits to be had.
Spike seasoning has a unique bland of ingredients that adds a ,special flavor to a variety of dishes and salads is you are on diet , you can use it on steam vegetables with a few drops of fresh lemon, it does not contain salt, which is another benefit of the blend. .my only critic is that i cannot get a large box on iHerb,
This seasoning blend is perfect! The taste is somewhat buttery, savory and all around good. I have used this with vegetables and pasta sauce. It adds a depth of flavor that couldn’t be achieved elsewhere! I stick to the serving size of 1/4 tsp and mix with the Spike Vege-Sal. I can’t wait to find more uses for this wonderful blend. I imagine it would taste great in soups and stews.
It’s like an all-you-need seasoning that gives my fried foods flavour. You can taste the combination of some of the ingredients, though you have to use quite a lot. But for the size, convenient package and the benefit of using just one spice instead of shaking many into my food, I’m not complaining. It’s really good quality. I use it on all my favourite recipes, from eggs to potatoes. I also like that it’s salt-free, so I can control how salty my food is separately, which is great for my low-sodium diet.
It tastes similar to other herbs and spices, and I didn’t find it particularly delicious.

My go to for all my soups and broths. I use a lot for each dish so it doesn’t last me that long but it has clean ingredients so it’s worth it.
bf is on a low sodium diet so I got him this and he likes the taste of it a lot! you can use is in a bunch of recipes and even use it on vegetables on its own. packaging is great and the size is pretty big. Just be mindful of the ingredients, as there are a lot of them..
