Prenatal Essentials MF, Methyl-Free, 60 Capsules

I know this is labelled as a "prenatal" supplement for pregnang women, but the composition is interesting for any person looking for a high-quality multi vitamin, since the "non-prenatal" formulas of the brand are not available on iHerb. As I've had unpleasant reactions to methyldonors in the past, I decided to try methyl-free products to see if they work better for me. I really appreciate that Seeking Health is taking this particular issue into account. The downside of multivitamins is always that they cannot match our individual needs. The best approach brands can take is to err on the side of caution to avoid overdosing any individual component. For my personal preferences, Seeking Health has achieved a decent balance in this product between avoiding unnecessarily high dosages, and delivering sufficient potency to improve health. If I could change anything about the product, I'd prefer to see a lower dosage of Chrome and a full spectrum vitamin E complex (instead of only alpha tocopherol). I like to use multivitamins on busy days or when travelling. This is one of the rather few products from the brand that does NOT contain silica (aka titanium dioxide), for which I am thankful. It also doesn't contain any herbal extracts, which is ideal for anyone under close medical supervision, such as pregnant or breastfeeding people as well as those taking any prescription medication. The packaging is normal, the pill size as well, no complains here.

My whole family use this product like a multivitamin. We like it because we all have a mutation which influence the metabolism of methylated vitamins.

I LOVE Seeking Health prenatals and have been on them for the past four years after learning about my genetic mutations. I had paused taking them and immediately began noticing severe vitamin deficiencies creep up. I love that you only have to take two pills, much more manageable in the first trimester. I also take these while nursing. I wish iHerb sold the Methylated version instead of the methyl free, but for now this one does the job. Superb quality, and I recommend checking out the company website if you are wanting to read more about their quality standards.

I take 1 a day as my multivitamin. Since starting I have found that my brain fog has lifted, anxiety reduced, my energy is so much better and my sleep has improved significantly!! I highly recommend this product. I can tell this has good quality ingredients. No taste and easy to use.

This is my wife's second pregnancy and the first time around the prenatals I got her weren't cheap but they were normal ones and got kidney stones and wasn't her healthiest. Now it's 7 years later so she's much older and she's been taking these since day one and she's doing quite well! She's got the normal uncomfortable ness and pregnancy pain and you know her feet are swollen and they hurt by her general energy levels and well-being or pretty good. Better than last time that's for sure. Is she still managing to work? And last time she was off work because of the kidney stones. And I know that's anecdotal. But that's what happened with us. I would recommend these to other mothers

Why is it so few manufacturers make MF vitamins? It's also funny that over 60% people have some MTHFR polymorphisms and yet they are considered mutations. most people could benefit from this MF package. PS: I was taking it on the morning and it seemed to make me really sleepy!! Every time. Do you have the same reaction?

Unfortunately I was unable to tolerate this supplement, after reading online it was likely the iron which is a shame as it has incredible ingredients and quality brand.

Really good multivitamin even if you're not looking to specifically get pregnant. Easy to swallow, wish it came in a bigger size than monthly bottles.

it is not heavy at all. other vitamins creates le a reflux, but with this one I am just fine.i will continue taking it.

This is a very good multivitamin. It doesn't have an overload of each vitamin.
