My whole family has had taken serrapeptase at some point. I said "at some point" because I have read that though this enzyme can be very effective in cleaning up the junk in our system, it shouldn't be taken continuously for an extended period of time. I have tried various brands of serrapeptase and they all worked very well. My sons' and my husband's sinuses cleared up right after taking serrapeptase. My scar from a brutal fall shrank noticeably after a couple of months' of intermittent taking. Careful though not to get too aggressive with the dosage. For starters, I would say 40,000 units is cool and observe your body's reaction for the first few days. I was too aggressive to give my sons 120,000 units (well, one capsule contained 120,000 units) per day and after a couple of days, they both had nose bleeding. I was a bit scared. I reduced the number of units to 40,000 and they were fine again. My husband had diarrhea after taking serrapeptase 2 days consecutively. So, though this enzyme can be beneficial and effective, one should work his or her dosage up gradually. Serrapeptase is a must have in my supplement cabinet. It's very helpful whenever I have clogged nose and throat full of phlegm. In just few minutes the mucus is gone. I can breathe well. It has no taste. But it must be taken with an empty stomach. The quality and ingredients are good. The dosage is just right although I prefer the large dose. But this dosage works well for me too. Will always order!
I tried this in the hope to help get rid of unwanted debri or tissue growth. initially I took 1 at night but it sort of ditrupt my sleep pattern, so I changed it to early in the moring before brushing my teeth I took 1 with 1 galss of warm water for 5 days and stopped on weeekends.. several weeks later I noticed the swell on my thyroid had looked smaller and not so obvious. I had thyroid nodules and had done needle aspiration too. I feel that this has benefited in shrinking my thyroid nodules. Great for inflammation in all areas of thr body. I took the higher dosage and really helped me. the pill size is small so it's easy to swallow. I like this brand the have quality ingredients and this product has no taste and great benefits.
I have lost lodrosis on my neck and my desk job doesn't help with keeping good posture. Instead of always having to take pain killers and muscle relaxant, it's good to minimize inflammation on my neck, shoulders, and lower back after about 3 months of supplementing with MSM, chronditin, and glucosamine.
