don’t know if it works well on dandruff as i don’t have dandruff i have seboreic dermatitis and severe itching. it cleanses the scalp really well, like a detox or clarifying shampoo and calms the itching very well. i do condition as usual as i have very long damaged hair. after drying my hair it came out voluminous and light feeling, really nice. the scent isn’t offensive like in other medicated shampoos, great size for the price
