I did some research to help a friend out since she kept complaining and I was annoyed. Got this for her even though she never wanted to use anything for her cold sores, but she finally tried it and loved it. Helped the blister heal faster and reduced the discomfort, and now she keeps one on hand just in case

Can be used up to 5 times a day and works effectively to arrest the cold sore from developing. Cream is white when first applied but becomes clear after it’s been absorbed. It’s also fragrance-free.

I get stress-induced cold sores, and Abreva is the only thing that actually shortens the healing time for me. I apply it at the very first tingle, and it seriously keeps the blister from becoming a huge, painful mess. The tube is tiny, but a little goes such a long way that it still lasts through a few outbreaks. It's definitely pricey for the size, but it's absolutely worth it to avoid a week of misery.
This is the best coldsore cream i have ever tried. No scent, no annoying taste or smell. Whenever I feel a coldsore is forming, I use it immediately. Earlier is the better to start and it heals coldsore extremely quickly. I have to admit it is pricy with considering the size you get. But it works like a charm.
