I use this occasionally for two different purposes, instead of aspirin. Main reason for using it is before extended exposure to intense sunlight. I have read that it can help reduce skin inflammation from too much sun exposure (sunburn).
A great product with a long history of use in medicine over the ages. One should tolerate aspirin when one takes this product and the 15% extract is ideal. A 25% form upset my stomach, but not the 15% version. One can feel the benefit of this product unlike many other supplements. Headaches, muscle strain, and the need to deal with stress. Can be taken with water, which is nice to know if one wakes during the night. Swanson has a good dose size, capsules, and price. This is a winner and I have used both Swanson and the Now brand for years. Swanson has a better dose size and price. Cheers

Swanson White Willow helps a lot with headaches. As soon as I start feeling the pain, l take one of these plus one capsule of Feverfew of the same brand, and the headache is nipped in the bud.
