I tested my DHEA-S before taking Swanson DHEA and I found 20 micro grams/dl which was well beneath the normal limit (approximately 52 micro grams/dl up to 295 micro grams/dl at my lab). With 50 mg DHEA Swanson every other day, after the day without the capsule I tested 158 micro grams which is in the normal range. Not sure I really feel extra energy but I'll continue taking it. At least it helps keep me in the normal range and in the long run I'm sure it will have a positive impact on my body. I'm male, 59.

Ive found that this quality and size of dosage if perfect for me currently. I might lower to 25mg over time but the benefit i feel from them is increased energy and overall happiness.
