For a few years now I've been a big fan of glucose disposal agents and banaba extract is always present in my daily supplement regimen. Taken before high carb meals, it improves insulin sensitivity, helping you put those carbs to good use. Taken in conjunction with other GDAs such as berberine, chromium or gymnema Sylvestre, in can really improve body composition.

Dosage: I take one with every meal (1x2). Softgels are of rather small size and I didn't notice any taste. Great pricing & quality of ingredients as far as I can tell. I'll keep reordering! I really liked this supplement, but the capsules I received this time were unusually small, fitting into a quarter of the bottle. The previous ones weighed 0.91g, while the new ones weighed only 0.31g, about a third of the original. I'm going to stop taking Swanson because they're too small and I'm taking too many, and switch to Now Foods' Banaba, which has the same active ingredient content.
