I have mainly used hawthorn extracts to get cardio tonic benefits. Now I'm discovering motherwort and I really appreciate both heart and relaxing effects. Benefits are enhanced when combined with Hawthorn. This combination also help in order to decrease blood pressure levels.
I gave this to a friend along with Hawthorn berry and Valerian root to see if it would help her blood pressure, which was borderline high. I think it was a good 2 weeks she was taking it before she went back to the doctor & had her blood pressure checked again...and it was good! This paired with the other two obviously work well together. Studies have shown it can be good for borderline high blood pressure to lower it by a few points. Worked for my friend. The price was really good, as well.
