This was such a great cup of tea to have when I got home from work. As a "tea snob" I'll definitely be purchasing more of this blend.
Lovely tasting black tea. Not too strong, just enough to give you a boost in the afternoon.
This is one of my favorite teas. It is unfortunate that it does not come in a bigger box. Smooth and calming afternoon tea with a biscuit is perfect. With twinnings ingredients it is the best there is.

the taste profile is much more pronounced than the English breakfast, deeper and more tasteful. perfect for a strong morning, can't say so for the evening though at least in my view.
I really enjoyed Twinings English Afternoon Black Tea. It has a light, crisp, and refreshing flavor that is perfect for afternoon tea. The taste is smooth and not too strong, making it easy to drink without bitterness. It works very well plain or with a little milk or lemon. What I appreciate most is the simple and clean ingredient list. It contains only pure black tea leaves with no artificial flavors, no colors, and no preservatives. This makes it a natural and healthy choice for daily tea drinking.

It's hard to describe the taste of this black tea but for me the blend is just right, strong but not too strong and very refreshing to drink in the afternoon. One of my favorite teas.

It's a reliable cup of black tea. As with most Twining's tea, it's a reliably balanced cup of tea with a moderately astringent finish. Better than Lipton's, not as smooth as PG Tips.
