Evening Primrose Oil, 60 Softgels

This brand has the best evening primrose oil and Iherb has the best price. I am hooked on this for hormone balance - I take 1 every morning with 3 Dr.Udo's Oil blend capsules and I have no hot flashes and my belly stays flat . It probably also helps my emotions/ moods but so does exercise and positive thinking so not sure.

Since im in my perimenopause, this has helped me together with my other supplement get through some tough times like stress and anxiety. Though not my main concern, it made my skin healthier. Barlean, so far is the best brand of evening primerose oil. Thank you Barlean, thank you Iherb!

I started taking this to reduce PMS. I also found that it controls lip skin peeling. I'm not sure why my lips peel, but they usually get itchy and peel every 4 days or so. When I take EPO, the peeling reduces drastically or even stops for months at a time. I suspect I have acquired a fungus infection or something. I avoid medication and prefer to deal with a health condition with nutrition and exercise. This oil seems to keep this odd condition at bay, although it doesn't eliminate it entirely. Also, my lips and nails appear to be healthier when I take EPO. Barlean's has a good reputation.

So I compared this brand with Solgar and it’s obvious that Barleans offers two times bigger dose for one serving. So I decided not to waste money and buy this one and take one capsule daily lol. The dosage would be the same. So highly recommend taking this one and using it in a smarter way!

I really like the quality of this supplement. One of the most important things to take for women, cause it has benefits for woman’s health. Has no taste. I noticed positive impact on the quality of my hair, skin. Big package. It’s enough for 2 months. At the age of 57, I find Evening Primrose Oil very good for the skin. I believe it provides some benefit, and dermatologists also support its use. I had been using body bios liquid primrose oil for years they discontinued it they do make a capsule but I am not willing to pay and have to take a million capsules to get what I used to from one teaspoon of their liquid product. so far these have been a fairly good replacement and will continue to use for now
