Usnea is an immune booster, a natural antibiotic, and it's great for topical use on abscesses or wounds. I had a kitty with an eye infection that drops wasn't helping so I gave usnea to her for two weeks and she was better before the two weeks was up. I don't know if it's supposed to be given to pets, and what all animals it's safe for so don't take my word as gospel, but I use it for mine whenever they're not 100% and need a bit of an immune boost, and it's never affected them badly!

I used this when I was on a sugary 'elemental diet' for SIBO, and needed to control fungal levels. I also used other Herb Pharm drops for this, but I'm not sure which were better! the taste is a bit herbal and savoury, maybe a bit like oregano, but not unpleasant.
