Doctor recommended 50 MCG most selenium capsules are way over that it was nice to find a naturally sourced selenium in a small amount. I am taking it for thyroid as far as whether or not it is helping I don't know.
As we do not need a lot of selenium , up to 400mcg for adults. This is the lowest dosage I can find, together with the food I eat this dosage is safe for me.
