The iHerb information is incorrect. The actual label on the bottle states: HYPOALLERGENIC: contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, corn, soy or wheat. Contains no sugar, starch, salt, preservatives, or artifical color, flavor or fragrance. In all likelihood, this glutamine is sourced from the same supplier as other major brands. The difference is in the size of the caspule. I like this choice, because these smaller 500mg capsules give you more flexibility in your dosing schedule.
I have been taking this product for last 6 months. This is a must supplement if you are suffering from IBD/Ulcerative colitis. I tried powder form from other manufacturer also but that worsen my symptoms so I went back to this one. This helps to absorb water in the colon and makes the stool better composed.
