HMB, 180 Capsules (500 mg per Capsule)

HMB is a phenomenal supplement that has no known side effects. It is an acid that is derived from the breakdown of leucine and as such, is naturally produced in the body. However, research suggests that supplementing your body with HMB can increase muscle recovery speeds (thereby decreasing fatigue) while also increasing your lean mass (which CAN lead to a decrease in fat, as long as your diet is good and you exercise regularly enough for you to be in a deficit that would allow for it). While some of the HMB I've had didn't taste great and some the capsules I've had have been quite large, the size of these capsules and taste of them have not been nearly as bad. The quality of the ingredients seems about as good as any other brand. As always, I suggest you do your own research on this supplement (try using pubmed or ncbi).

I'm taking 3g per day, 1g three times per day. During long stretches without strength training (trips, holidays, colds etc.) it seems to preserve strength. Not by itself of course. I have to consume protein. But with impressive results in holding muscle level. Amazing product for muscle building, it allows my muscles to recover faster and have less soreness. It's a well researched supplement, combine it with creatine and enjoy the results.
