I LOVE this Mac and cheese. The consistency of the sauce isn’t like cheesy Mac and cheese, but the taste is definitely there. It’s enough for 2 small serving sizes or one meal. The noodles are great quality as they are my favorite gluten free noodle brand. Healthyish ingredients as well!
Unfortunately when I made this meal I found that the "cheese" sauce powder was very thick and didn't blend with the liquids i've heated in the pan. It turned into clumps and the taste wasn't great either :( I wanted to like this because it is gluten free and the pasta itself was fine, just the whole vegan cheese powder blend was off for me.
As much as I love the gluten free pasta made by Jovial, the macaroni & cheese made by them was incredibly disappointing and bland. It seriously just tasted like vegan butter, and I had to add LOTS of nutritional yeast (and other seasonings) to give it some flavor. Meh! I will continue loving Jovial pasta and hope they keep coming out with new shapes and whatnot, but they really need to go back to the drawing board on the vegan mac & cheese flavoring.
I am absolutely in love with this flavor, and it’s a total lifesaver for a quick meal that doesn't feel like a compromise. It’s so hard to find a gluten-free and vegan option that actually has a great texture without relying on weird gums, starches, or artificial fillers.
The best texture and consistency of a macaroni. Thr whole family loves this. Its healthy and good quality.
I’d given up on all pasta meals after going gluten and dairy free for my colonic inertia so this was a super treat for me. I guess it’s somewhat unsatisfying for those with guts that can handle the “real” thing:) I’m super happy to have found an indulgence that can be prepared easily.
The package has a sauce container but it was personally a little thin for the pasta. The gluten free pasta itself is good but the sauce is "decent" or will vary depending on what milk you end up using as your ingredient. Does not taste bad but it is not the highest ranking one.
I really enjoy jovial’s your gluten-free products. I was excited to see they had vegan mac & cheese. It was delicious . however, it didn’t give me that cheesy feeling I was hoping for.
This is the best gluten-free, dairy-free Mac out there. My son loves it and the whole family, even those without restrictions, enjoy it too. This cannot be said for other vegan ones!
The flavor is just ok on this , but in trying it, I tried jovial pasta. It cooks incredibly for a GF product without falling apart and getting goopy.
