HOW: I made a very strong mix, using boiling chamomile tea, and added some lemon for activating. I made it into sort of like a smoothie texture. Left it on my head for 3 hours, with a shower cap and towel turban. RESULTS: The grey hairs took on some subtle blond color. I like it. I read that for your first time, you might need to do it twice. So I'm going to repeat today. It's hard to wash out so be prepared for that. TIPS: You're not supposed to use products that have essential oils if you use henna because it strips it off. Don't use any metals when making it, not spoons, not bowls etc PROS: No chemicals, not bad for us, not carcinogenic. Made my hair seem fuller because it was just slightly drying. Color was nice. CONS: Eventually my scalp got itchy from having it on so long. Hard to wash out & messy process to apply. Color was weak, not that noticeable, it only covers grays not all hair.

This henna gave my hair subtle, golden blonde highlights with a nice shine. It’s gentle on my hair and leaves it feeling soft and healthy. The application process is a bit long, but the results are beautiful and totally worth it if you’re looking for a natural alternative to chemical hair dyes.

I have tried a few henna hair colors from this brand and they all worked very well for my brown hair with some grey hair starting to appear. The scent of the henna is fine and not too strong. I am happy with this natural hair color and recommend it!

I live all of Rainbow Henna products. I mix this with the darker and it created a beautiful light brown. mixed with coffee and a little vinegar.. hair is vibrant again.

I have enjoyed using Rainbow Research, Henna, Hair Color and Conditioner, Blonde, in my hair, using smaller amounts frequently to keep up the luster and henna qualities I like. The henna seems to thicken and protect the hair strands to a certain extent, and the rich color is great. I often make a paste with the light brown, and another with the blond henna and then streak the colors in my hair. It all kind of blends together after a while, but the final effect looks and feels quite nice. My hair is less likely to break since I've been using henna, so it's longer too!

I've used the rainbow light brown henna for years and wanted to gradually introduce/ create a lighter shade (for my roots) as the old henna grew out. The blonde henna is ideal when added to the light brown for a soft caramel brown. Over time that mix still ends up with warmer red under tone, but still lovely nonetheless

I use Rainbow Henna in various colors to get the right shade for my hair. This one is great for adding extra highlights and just general conditioning, because it mostly contains Cassia which is a fantastic natural conditioner. Doesn't necessarily add a lot of color but makes your hair really, really soft.

Very nurturing. The color is very bright yellow. Great for buttery blonds.

I'm a brunette, so I like to mix this blonde henna with the brown to get a less harsh color for my 60+ complexion. Been using this brand for years and it does a great job covering my gray hair without damaging it or irritating my scalp. It's messy but worth it!

All-natural product. The blonde powder doesn't work on my dark hair—you can't see any difference in shades, shine, or anything. No noticeable change.
