During the pandemic I started doing my own hair color and, to my surprise, I am still doing it myself! I use a mix of 7N, 6N and 7C and the result is exactly what I want. My scalp is sensitive, my hair is fine yet I have not had any issues. The smell is pleasant, it is easy to apply, and the ingredients are as natural as it gets. It covers grey hairs nicely too!
I switched to Herbatint Permanent Haircolor Gel in 7C Ash Blonde because I wanted a cooler blonde without the harsh salon smell, and I’m impressed. The formula is ammonia-free and vegan, and the scent is very mild compared to typical box dyes. It didn’t sting my scalp and left my hair feeling soft and shiny afterward. The 7C Ash tone is exactly what I hoped for—neutral/cool and it cancels brass nicely. It covered my scattered greys really well and the color looks natural, not flat. I mixed it 1:1 with the developer (as directed) and left it on for about 35–40 minutes. One box was enough for my shoulder-length hair. The color holds for around 4–5 weeks before I need a root touch-up. Tips: • Do a strand test first to gauge timing and tone. • Use a purple/blue shampoo once a week if your hair tends to go warm. • Deep-condition after rinsing to lock in shine. Overall, a great at-home option if you want a gentle formula with true ash blonde results and reliable grey coverage.
I am a regular user of Herbatint in Ash Blonde. This is the only permanent hair color that I have used so far that do not sting my scalp on application. One box of this is 2 applications on my med length hair. This leaves my hair soft and bouncy unlike other brands that I used before. Highly recommend this if root tint is part of your monthly routine., it last a month before the next application.
I have been a loyal customer for many years and I truly LOVE this product. I also appreciate that you now include MORE conditioner — for those of us who use it for several coloring sessions, this is a real help. But I have a sincere request: PLEASE bring back the SEMI-TRANSPARENT packaging!!! With the current opaque tube, it is almost impossible to measure the right amount. I keep guessing, and I constantly get the quantity WRONG — which means the shade does NOT come out the way I want. It becomes really frustrating when you rely on precision and consistency. I hope the brand will LISTEN to long-term customers like me. I am sure many others will support this review because we LOVE the product — we just need packaging that lets us use it PROPERLY!!!

East to mix 1:1 ratio... Gel-like consistency, easy to manage and spread evenly and gentle on scalp. Conditioner that comes with it just restores replenish moisture of hair and leaves it shiny especially the darker tones. Love it. Hope the quality remains. Highly recommend

Creates a cool light brown effect. Light odour, no stinging on the scalp and seems fairly gentle on the hair. My hair is quite grey, so I needed to combine it with one from the N range - either 8 or 9 - for the colour not to wash straight out again in the next hairwash. Also I find I need to leave the colour there for at least twice the recommended time, but that's how it was for me at the hairdresser's too, so that might just be due to my hair type and nothing to do with this product. But with a low-odour product, that was ok.
permanent coloring, doesnt cause dryness, I mix different shades, 6N, 7N, 8N and the C shades. the packaging acceptable and the size is reasonable, it lasts for a.month.
