I stopped using henna because it can't really cover grays (even this "color the gray" one), has a strong smell, and takes forever to process. Pretty disappointed...
Covers the greys just as it says it does. A longish two step process but totally worth it. The colour is more of a medium to dark brown but looks natural and hasn’t got that reddish tint.
My hair is 20-30% gray, and this henna mix does a perfect a job. I repeat the procedure every 6 weeks, and though it does take time for me the result is totally worth it. I do step 1 and step 2 in different days, imo it makes the result better. The scent is strong but I done mind it. I have shoulder length hair, one package is enough to touch up the roots 3–4 times. I have been using this dye for over 5 years, and my hair looks healthy
Since the age when my wife needed to use them, she has complained about other hair dyes. This one, however, seems to leave her hair feeling better than others. Other benefits of this product are the mild scent and the moisturizing it does to her hair. She says she thinks it's a great product.
The paint itself is very good in composition and effect on the hair. But gray hair is very poorly requested by this tool. Gray hair turns out to be red and stands out very noticeably against the background of other hair on the head. On the iherb website there are paints with a better effect on gray hair.
I have been using light Mountain colour the gray for five years and I love it! I use light brown and it colours my hair medium brown. I leave step 1 on for 10 min and step 2 for 90 min. The colour is beautiful and my hair is shiny, strong, and healthy. I really like the first week after colouring because the protein makes it so thick.
I have been using this product for about a year and my hair has been healthier since switching from salon color. It colors well, but it is a process that takes me 4-5 hours to complete. The color isn't always consistent since it's a two part process, but it's always nice and I receive compliments.
Light Mountain Natural Hair Color in Light Brown gives a beautiful, natural-looking result. I like that it’s plant-based, gentle, and leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy.
I used this on my friend and even though it did cover the gray, it started fading after 2 washes. The initial color results were good but it didn't really last as long one would like.
Looks great! It’s a bit of work, having to do a full head twice, but it does cover the grey and the color ends up beautiful. Scent is harsh like henna but it goes away. Single use. A bit drying so use a conditioner afterwards for moisture.
