This is a reputedly excellent product and has definitely helped my wife get over the symptoms--along with Healthy Prosterone--of her menopause, which had recently begun. It is ideal in that it will raise estrogen when there is a bodily definciency and reduce it when there is an excess. Thus, the name "adaptogen".

This product is no different because it has 80mg of herb pueraria mirifica, a known phytoestrogen that benefits women by increasing their estrogen levels. Besides that, it has folate, vitamin B12 and biotin that are also benefial.
I have been taking this product for one month and a half. My time of the month , which had been badly stagnant for the past couple of years, is normal now! I am very happy about that. The main reason I am on Solgar PM is to make my hair thicker on my scalp. I haven't noticed this benefit yet but I read that to see increased hair growth takes at least 4 months on this herb, according to clinical results. I am going to keep taking this. I take one week off every month for the menses.
I was pleased to find another women's menopause support that includes Pueraria mirifica Root Extract. Dr. Christine Northrup presented some compelling research and information about this herb. I have used this along with Nature's Answer, Pueraria Mirifica, 150 mg; also available through iHerb. Other menopause support I use with these formulas include several vendors DIM formulas. Have done this for nearly 6 years now, very happy with the results.
A good product. I tried many different phytohormones, but this one turned out to be the most effective. My period returned after a year-long break. The only thing I don't like is that the pill is hard to swallow, since it lacks a glossy coating and is rough.
