it is a good pill cutter but not very convenient for very small pills. to cut them, I switched to the good old ceramic knife.

I have purchased most of the pill splitters offered by Iherb and this is my favorite one - thus the reason for purchasing more.

This small device is very beneficial. I'm very pleased I've encountered it. It make life much easier if you need to cut pills on a daily basis. The results are not always perfect, but they are good enough. I think that better that these results I can get with a laser cutter :)

Main Issues: Lack of Precision: When it comes to small or oddly shaped tablets, the blade often crushes the pill rather than cutting it into equal halves. This is a significant drawback when accurate dosing is critical. Alignment Difficulty: Despite the magnifying glass, keeping small pills perfectly centered is a struggle. They tend to shift just as the blade descends. Ease of Use: For someone managing a hand injury or decreased dexterity, the force required and the lack of grip can be frustrating. Pros: The safety shield is excellent for preventing accidental nicks, and the build quality feels sturdy. However, if you need to split small, fragile, or potent tablets into exact doses, this might not be the most reliable tool.

The main drawback of this device is that the blade is very dull. It doesn't cut at all. It slips off the tablet, leaving two completely unequal halves—one very large, the other very small. Even after I sharpened the blade, it still doesn't cut!
