Really like the scent & composition of this quality product. Does what it says it will do - removes brassiness & dullness from bleached, grey or naturally blond hair. I've tried so many purple shampoos (even the $40 stuff) and this is by far the best sulfate free one. I love it. Lathers nice, smells fantastic, cleans and moisturizes too. I could skip the conditioner and just use a leave in if I wanted. And it actually tones the brass out. Already have more in my cart. Definitely recommend
I love it, I bought it as replacement to a very expensive brand I was kinda worried it wouldn’t do anything but I was surprised to say I did a really great job moisturizing my hair My highlights are still looking fresh and smells good not bad at all and it hydrates really well saw the difference in matter 2-3 uses so I would recommend it!
Having issues with my white hair turning brassy/yellow, I tried the Not Your Mother's Purple Shampoo. What a difference it made, the brassiness was gone after one shampoo. It left my curly hair moisturized, less frizzy and manageable.
I found the Not Your Mother’s Blonde Moment Tone & Repair Purple Shampoo to be solid for keeping brassiness at bay its dark violet pigments visibly tone down unwanted yellow/orange hues in bleached or silver hair after just a couple of uses.
My favourite one so far it makes my hair shiny and tones it while hydrating it…packaging is good and size is big
Overall pretty satisfied. There is no real alternative that I have found to avoid negative reviews of Violet Dyes. Vanity, vanity! But this formula seems a better choice with fewer questionables than some salon brands. I am satisfied with the color toning benefits to neutralize my gray.
a very lovely toner i would prefer it to tone a bit better than it does but i still like it and it cares for my hair and isnt drying
Great Product that is reasonably priced (2025), it arrived quickly as always, thanks to iHerb. It tones the hair well without turning it purple. I've found you can leave on longer for a brighter result. Also doesn't dry out your hair like some others can. You don't need very much, so it will last me a while.
I use this shampoo as a prophylactic for my colored blonde hair. It keeps the brass at bay and tones down my hair color. I don't use it regularly because the crazy chemicals would probably make my hair fall out. It does smell nice and has a great consistency.
