a lot of greens powders have barley, the powder form of which has the weird effect of irritating my kidneys - great to find a straight spinach powder of good quality

I was having a hard time finding an easy spinach powder to add to my morning smoothies and finally found this - this is the one! The price is right and it helps me get my daily greens in. I am serious about tracking my fiber/protein/and essential vitamins and minerals daily, but I honestly just don't enjoy the dark leafy greens enough to get as many as I should into my daily diet. This powder goes a long way toward helping me solve that! I don't taste it much in my smoothie at all, but I find I don't taste it *at all* if I put cocoa powder in my smoothie, which also has great health benefits, so now I always do that. If you struggle to get in your greens too, I recommend this!
Instead of fresh spinach, I learned to use this spinach powder in making pasta. It is very convenient and it smells so spinach. Will try to use it in my drinks as suggested in the other reviews.
