CoQ10 Ubiquinol, 100 mg, 60 Vegetarian Softgels

I used to take regular CoQ10, however getting the desired amount of Ubiquinol from it takes quite a bit more CoQ10, so I decided to take the already bioavailable Ubiquinol instead.

Ubiquinone is the oxidized form of CoQ10, and Ubiquinol is the reduced form. Our bodies can readily convert one form to the other until about the age of 40. So prior to this age, either form should work equally well. After the age of 40, the Ubiquinol form works better and is more easily absorbed.

I found that another brand worked better for me. Also, the capsule color of this one looks uneven, which makes me a bit concerned about the quality.

I’ve been using this and other brands for a while. I like then feel of the pill, it’s easy to swallow and has no taste to it.
