This is some of the best gluten free pasta I have found. It cooks up beautifully every time with great texture and flavor. Never breaks apart. Great for homemade macaroni and cheese. Great quality and worth the price. Picky eater approved and non gluten free eaters can’t really taste the difference. Highly recommend!
Jovial has quality pasta that cooks up well and is fun to eat. It tastes great even if nothing is quite like wheat. I love the seashells for summer pasta recipes. I wish it was a 16 oz box size instead of 12 oz. The pasta packaging is sturdy and pasta does not break in shipping.
Medical Medium recommends this brand, so I'm confident of its quality. It's only composed of organic brown rice flour and water, and its gluten free, so its ingredients are safe. Its texture is soft and taste is light. It's packaged in a paper box without any extra plastic bag inside. Since I eat it quite often, I hope it can offer a bigger size.
My family has eaten Jovial gluten free pasta since we had to switch to gluten free five years ago. There was a short patch last year when the product quality changed for the worse, but it is back to being consistently delicious. Particularly useful for people that have to be gf and can’t eat corn, since all the other gf pastas have corn.
I’ve been very pleased with every Jovial pasta I’ve tried. I used this one for macaroni salad—other brands tend to get mushy (at first) then harden in the fridge. These neither got mushy, nor hard—not to mention, they taste great! I feel like I can trust Jovial’s ingredients as well, compared to other GF brands. Seems like the brand has integrity.
I love this brand of brown rice pasta the best. The shells hold up really well, keep their shape. Excellent choice for Mac n cheese. Out of all the brown rice pasta, the shells hold their shape the best in my opinion.
Because it means I eat more and more pasta! I’m trying to drag myself away from these heavenly morsels of pasta but this brand just keeps pulling me back with their irresistible mouthfuls of pure delight! Why?!? Why did I find this brand? 😞
I love love love this and all Joval GF! They do cook up quite plump and if not careful can be overcooked and if not rinsed well very starchy. but other than that it is the only ones that I have found to have good flavor and texture as a gluten-free pasta
