This has an aniseed flavour, doesn't contain allergens and it very gentle. Pricey but the only one my chemical-sensitive body will tolerate at present. It's not at all abrasive - you can use a bit of baking soda on a wet toothebrush to remove stains.

I really liked this toothpaste - natural composition and pleasant herbal taste. Calendula soothes the gums well, after brushing there is no burning or dryness. Teeth are clean, the feeling of freshness is soft and natural. I use it with pleasure and can recommend it to those who are looking for a gentle, natural toothpaste.

One of a kind!👍🏽 It's natural, therefore not to be compared with typical supermarket toothpastes. The flavors and textures of these Weleda toothpastes differ from all other toothpastes. Please do not expect them to foam as typical toothpastes either. Most people are trained by the mainstream, commercially produced, supermarket brand products to believe that all toothpastes should produce a sudsy foamy action and minty taste in order to clean and freshen property which is simply not true. Though a foamy sudsy feeling is nice, it's not necessary. There are many benefits of using a non-mint toothpaste as well as mint can hinder some treatments or interfere with certain health regimes such as homeopathic care (research it), and other people simply desire a mint free product. This is not Tom's brand either so people should not compare because Weleda toothpastes are in a class of their own. That being said to some of the criticisms... I have used Weleda toothpastes for years along with traditional typical big brand toothpastes. I switch and swap from morning and evening brushings throughout the week as well as swapping from month to month. The 3 Weleda toothpastes I use regularly along with my typical brands are this Calendula, Ratahnia, and Salt. Though they're said to provide different benefits, the Calendula and the Ratahnia have the same consistency to me but very different flavors as Ratahnia is mildly minty and Calendula is yummy anise flavored. The calendula does slightly dissipate (dissolve) somewhat in your mouth like some have said but I don't find that to be a big problem, I just use a tad more. None of them expand in volume when in mouth like the typical foaming pastes do but that is not a concern because foaming volume is not necessary for cleaning, it's just something one must become accustomed to and retrain their way of thinking about a toothpaste and cleaning of teeth. To help clear up a concern that some reviewers have mentioned, noticing the toothpaste diluting with water... Well, it does seem more water soluble therefore, I do NOT run it under water, not even for a second before brushing as is usually done with the typical pastes. So, no water... just put it on your brush and start brushing, smearing all over teeth quickly first to evenly distribute and then brush each tooth as normal. It may seem that you need more paste after brushing for a bit though you really don't but use as much as you desire. I use a bit more but maybe cause I really like anise too😂

I love Wrleda products, this toothpaste is good but it does not get me the fresh sensation I am looking for after brushing my teeth.

Good and gets the job done but you might want to use a bit stronger toothpaste once or twice weekly to have thoroughly clean teeth. I have sensitive teeth and it helps with that.

I've tried several organic tootpastes, but this one wins hands down. The fact that it's made in Germany makes me feel safe that great care is taken in it's production. The Calendula flavor is my favorite. It does a great job of cleaning my teeth and the taste is not artificial or overpowering. A really great taste I look forward to a couple of times a day!

It’s ok… but i didn’t enjoy the flavor very much and I don’t know if it did a better job than any other toothpaste on the market. I do have sensitive teeth and gums and it didn’t cause any pain or discomfort and it was very gentle, but it didn’t make me feel extra minty fresh clean.

I like the fennel flavor & is gentle on the teeth. I haven't been to the dentist since I've used this paste so not sure how effective it is
