I have been taking this product plus Ceylon cinnamon twice a day for years. Having been labeled a high pre-diabetic, it has helped bring my A1c down a lot, so no more needle sticking needed and checked only once a year. After seeing reviews, people have to keep in mind it does not work over night. If you develop physical issues (red skin, stomach issues etc.) it can mean allergy (even if never had allergies before) or perhaps a reaction from something else one is taking or a medical problem the product is not compatible with, etc. etc. People need to read up on the dos and don'ts of chromium polynicotinate from experts, not just reviews.

As expected from Solgar, the quality is excellent and the glass bottle packaging is a nice touch that I reuse afterwards. I chose the polynicotinate form because it is generally considered a gentler and potentially safer form of chromium. Personally, I did not notice any specific effects while taking it, and I previously experienced more noticeable mood-related benefits from chromium picolinate, although that may be subjective or coincidental. I should also mention that I am not diabetic. Overall, a well-made product with no complaints regarding quality or formulation.

Polynicotinate is recommended as the most bio-available form, though is less widely available than picolinate. I I really struggled to find Chromium polynicotinate in the UK so was really happy to have found this and it's a fair price too. I've been suffering with blood sugar imbalances for a while. I have seen improvements though it's difficult to tell if this is having a direct impact as I changed a lot of things at the same time. My practitioner recommended it so I'm sure it's a good source
