It’s 100% authentic. Has the scent of burnt coffee, dark in colour and melts in your hands like butter. Other fake brands will smell like peanut butter light in colour and doesn’t melt as easily. This quality I highly recommend.
After using Batana for a while now, my hair is definitely softer and my scalp feels lovely after the shower. It's pretty moisturizing and that's a benefit. The only thing I didn't like is the size of the container. The quality of the oil is good and the scent doesn't really bother me as I've heard some say. I'm waiting to see if my hair actually grows.
I heard and read so much about this scalp and hair oil before finally having the opportunity to buy this. I had to wait almost 3 months for this to come back instock on iherb. I trust iherb so had to wait for restocking. I will comeback to update once i have used for at least one month. Excited about the benefits to hair density and growth.

The product is good and, after using it, it really does give the hair a nice glow, hydration, and shine. However, the smell isn’t very pleasant. The texture is good, especially after melting it in a warm water bath.
This is the real deal. It smells just like a strong coffee. I oil my scalp and work it into my hair at night a few times a week. I'm seeing my thinning edges slowly, but surely start to fill out again.
Love the smell and the quality. Not heavy on the scalp. Will buy again.
