This product contains 20 mg of lutein and 2 mg of zeaxanthin which are between the range of the typical daily dosage for supporting eye health and other benefits as protecting vision from blue light of the computers and easier fatigue. Their soft gel capsules are free of added color and their size not big which is good.
Zeaxanthin is thought to function as a light filter, protecting the eye tissues from sunlight damage. Lutein can improve vision and protect overall eye health by filtering harmful blue light, acting as an antioxidant, and reducing oxidative stress in the eyes. I take it for eye maintenance. Without it over time my vision gets blurry.

I am taking it for preventive measure, the price and product are decent but I have also ordered from Vitamatic, the same ingredients but higher consistency. I suppose the effectiveness would show after taking for a longer time and then stopping it for sometime to see if eyesight deteriorates. If nothing changes then it may not be doing anything for me.

This lutein supplement has a really good composition by including zeaxathin and astaxanthin as well as omega 3s. Although I think the amount of omega 3s is probably listed incorrectly in mcg instead of mg. The softgels are on the bigger side, which is quite usual for omega 3s, so some people may find that a bit difficult. It's great that it's 240 softgels, so will last for 120 days following the recommended dose. I also like that they are in a resealable bag and not in a bottle as usual.
