I take it in powder and blend it with a smoothie (be aware, it has a strong kinda acid taste). The amount is giant! I love it, enough for a long long time.

I know well L- Carnitine because I use it for the last 4-5 years. I am 54 & very fit . I follow a cross training routine about 6 hours per week. I use L- Carnitine from April to October , 1 gr. per day. This one worked perfectly with no side effects. Generally I haven't noticed any side effects using L- Carnitine the way I described allready.
