It's made in the USA and has an American scent. In terms of usability, it washes out easily with shampoo and has good hold. It hardens after a while and doesn't feel sticky. The scent is strong at first, but it doesn't last all day, so it's not bothersome.

The scent of Suavecito Whiskey Bar is nice but too mild; I expected something more pronounced. For my next purchase, I will opt for the original scent. I’ve been using this water based Pomade as well as the clay version for almost five years now. I like the smell (sort of a woodsy-like scent). My hair can be unruly and the firme/strong hold helps me tame it all day long. You can “reactivate” the hold, if neede, by every so lightly using water on it and it will hold again. The price was the best I found. Somewhere around the low teens is a good buy, because this can get expensive, so stock up if you find a good deal.
It has a slightly sweet scent mixed with men's aftershave. The gloss is luxurious, and it applies well. Since it is water-based, it washes off very easily, making it great for daily use. If you are Asian, I recommend this product over the original.
It's hard to explain, but it's easy to use because it's not too sticky. The hold isn't as stiff as I expected, so it's easy to do detailed styling. (I was actually hoping for something a bit firmer.) It has almost no scent, which I also liked. The price is a little on the high side, so overall I'm giving it 4 stars.
