I take it in early evening, well after a light meal (and no coffee or caffienated tea after about 3 pm) and I notice that after about 10 or so days, my sleep pattern has changed and I now get better sleep and feel more alert the following day. I will continue with this product until my daily sleep pattern is firmly established. (I no longer stay awake in bed, but can go right to sleep...)
