We tried these Shiloh Farms currants and Sunmaid's currants, and greatly preferred these. They are organic and also more dehydrated (or more likely, less re-hydrated) than Sunmaid's version, so even though the cost per ounce for these is higher, Shiloh's product feels like a better value.
These organic zante currants are great. Delicate, tasty and really good to add to gravies and rice dishes. Adds just the right amount of sweetness without extra sugar. Delicious out of the bag too!

These currants are of the highest quality. Upon opening the bag they are super fresh and non sticky with a delightful fragrance. I add them to my porridge, yogurt and simply enjoy them plain. They are a “must have” staple item for me. These currants are nutritious and delicious!
These taste much better if you blend them with liquid and let them sit for a few minutes. I like this product because it doesn't add excess sugar and it's organic.
Of course, Shiloh Farms would have a hard to find item and great quality to boot. Love this product for baked goods and love this company!
