Recently, I was under a great deal of stress and was having constant pain in my upper abdomen. I am not sure what it was, but it felt like it might be pain from gastritis, ulcers, and/or hiatal hernia. The pain started a few months after I began taking Potassium Gluconate, which I later learned can cause gastritis. I started taking acidophilus along with mastic gum, licorice (DGL), slippery elm, and Doctor's Best PepZinGI. The combination significantly soothed the pain I was having. I am no longer having those pains, so whatever it was must have healed. I feel like the acidophilus has really normalized the condition of my digestive system to a healthy state. I can handle stronger foods much easier. I recommend this for anyone with digestive or gastrointestinal issues.

I emptied one capsule into my vegan soya milk/yoghurt mix to make a fresh batch of yoghurt. Although I can't say for sure if this probiotic helped the yoghurt, the reality is it did come out really thick, which is usually a sign of plenty of good bacteria.
I didn't expect the capsules to help me, but they do. I take one pill every day after meals and it helps with digestion, it definitely helps me and eases my digestive problems. The pill is not big and easy to swallow.
I've tried this before since I suffer from bloating, gas and painful stomach problems. It worked then and it's working now. I will not let myself run out again. Note, you will be uncomfortable in the beginning, but don't let this discourage you. It will take at least a week for your tummy to get use to. It will be worth it. I also changed my diet a bunch too - but feel like if I don't take probiotics, things go a little sideways again. Great value for 100 capsules, and no weird aftertaste like some veg capsules have. Seems to work as well as any other brand!

This is a solid probiotic supplement that combines acidophilus with pectin, which is a nice addition for digestive support. The capsules are easy to swallow and I haven't experienced any unpleasant aftertaste. I've been taking it daily for about a month and feel it's helping with my gut health. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the potency could be higher - some competing products offer more CFUs. Still, it's vegan-friendly and from a reputable brand, so I'd recommend it for general digestive wellness.
