Got this product to use for hair and body. Also like soap since there is no scent. Good quality product with fair trade ingredients and no alcohol. Package fits well in the shower and easy to store. This soap moisturizes and gentle on the skin. Enjoy the benefits of multiple use for face, body, and hair.
Dr.Bronner's Sugar Soap isn't as drying to the skin as the regular castile soap. Dr. Bronner's has very high quality products and many of their products are staples in our household for decades. I wish iherb would sell Dr. Bronner's recyclable quart-size carton refills for the plastic bottle quart castille soaps.
It feels good on the hair, and even moisturizing upon first application, but that's from the sugar on your fingers. It immediately starts to strip oils away and the hair becomes very dry. Of course it's designed to be used with an additional ACV or oil rinse to put those back on, but despite what the company says, it is not actually good for your hair to constantly be lifting and lowering the hair cuticle. They can weaken and break by doing this. I also have dry hair so it's far too harsh, despite how they also say this is a more moisturizing formula and specifically for hair. Not much better on the skin. Okay as a handwash especially if you've gotten your hands very dirty or greasy from cooking. I stopped using it. Would only recommend for those with oily hair or skin and even then with caution.
Love this brand and this soap, but unfortunately it can be a little messy no matter how careful you try to be. And because the soap is dark it's more noticeable if any drips onto your sink. So you're constantly cleaning up the sink after using it. This is the only downside, because the soap is awesome!
I like the quality ingredients. It’s gentle on my sensitive skin and does not dry it out. The soap is moisturizing and a little goes a long way. Enjoy!

I use this soap throughout the day on my hands and so far I have not had any dryness or irritation like with other types or brands of liquid Castile soap. I do see that it’s more expensive so try to use it sparingly.
I have been using this for my son since he was born. He used to have very sensitive skin and some of the more mainstream brands would cause Eczema. He is now eight years old and still uses this when showering. It’s gentle, smells great and lasts forever.
I’ve been using Dr. Bronner’s sugar soap for years now. I rave about this soap to everyone! It’s the best soap ever. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and clean. I always go for unscented and it does still have a very mild pleasant scent but will try peppermint next!
