Blackberry is a great source of vitamin K which plays an important role in bone metabolism. Also rich in manganese and vitamin C, which both help the formation of collagen. Its anthocyanins is able to suppress the toxicity of beta-amyloid deposits in the brain therefore slow the progression of Alzheimer's. I like to mix it with green powder, yogurt or collagen. Sour taste is very refreshing to me.

My autistic son didn't eat fruits, so we get this freeze-dried blackberries powder and we mixing with water or adding in his smoothie. Lovely taste and color . Role of fruits in our diet is essential, but sometimes sensory issues give hard time to make autistic kid to eat ,so powder is well accepted.

I bought this powder because I'm a suckere for Blackberries and thought about trying to make smoothies. Instead, I've mixed it in applesauce, lemonade, etc. It tastes not overly sweet and it does have seeds. It also includes a tiny scoop for dosage. The one thing that was probably my fault is it will dry into clumps. I think it's because I took out the (silica) container. I've had to grind it back down. Next time I'm leaving that little trinket in there, but it didn't effect the quality either way. ** So far on my second order, leaving the trinket has helped. ;)

I love fresh Blackberries, but when they are off season, it is so expensive and can be moldy. So, I am very happy IHERB has this powder, I can mix it with my cereal and get the benefits all year round. I have been consuming it for almost a year. Love it.
