i suffer from migraines and this is a good supplement to have on hand. the value is good, decent amount of pills inside. They are alittle dry or dry tasting, but go down just fine with a sip of water. no funny after taste. solaray is a good brand that i trust.
I get frequent headaches, migraines really, and I can't tolerate most medication. My neurologist suggested I try this. It has been incredibly effective at reducing pain and frequency of headaches. I only take one a day but it still makes a big difference. I researched brands as there is a chemical that if not properly removed can cause liver damage. This was the only brand I could easily find that had a certification from Europe, wasn't a blend, and had no weird additional ingredients. I've been taking for a while and it's really helped me!
I went down the rabbit hole of why I suffered so much from PMS symptoms. As it turns out I have the symptoms of PMDD. I suspect I have autism, and have heard that our PMDD is cause by a histamine intolerance. Since Butterbur is a natural antihistamine I thought I’d try it. Now I take 150 mg of Butterbur during my luteal phase and WOW have my symptoms gotten better! I look forward to luteal phase now! I no longer get insane mood swings, crazy cravings/increased hunger, or the severe bloating I used to get. I’m so happy I tried this supplement!
Very helpful and useful for allergies. As an added bonus it also helps with migraines. Take however only for a short term, to minimize side effects.
I have no complaints. Good quality, works well for dust allergies.
I think that butterbur helps to lesson the frequency and intensity of migraine/tension headaches. It is easy to take twice a day with meals. It does not have any aftertaste for me. I trust the quality of products that IHerb sells.
I am not sure if it works or not, since I noticed some stomach upset and stopped taking them after a few days. I used to pick this in my garden in Japan- it grew wild. Everyone there knew it was good for health , especially allergies. I will try it again sometime.
