I've been taking this in addition to white peony root extract, reishi and zinc to manage hirsutism due to PCOS - a relapse due to gradually getting off the highly toxic medication. I've been taking 1 capsule morning and evening. Hair loss has now stopped (back to a normal turnover) and the other symptoms have stabilised after about 2 months. It is a relief! It seems to make me less sensitive to the cold, which is nice, however I now often feel too warm to sleep well at night and need to open the window (in winter) for a while before bedtime. The dosages I've been taking are quite low as I wanted to make these products last and to proceed with caution, especially as I am planning to take them chronically, since hirsutism can take months to start to recede. Bear in mind that licorice root increases blood pressure, so if you have hypertension, this supplement isn't safe for you. Also, chronic intake can cause hypokalemia, so if you notice some cramps while taking it, you may need potassium. Do you research. Proceed with caution. Good product, works well. Affordable.
