I like that with this volume I can take the recommended 3g of spirulina a day. It energises me, and I feel like spirulina is the only supplement that makes my lips redder because of the iron in it. The smell is truly pungent, more pronounced than in tablets. It’s the smell of a muddy pond during a heatwave with some dead fishes floating on top. But it’s all fine by me, as long as I see benefits. The taste of spirulina is just salt-ish, nothing more. And to reduce its stickiness and smell mix it in water with some natural honey (1:1). Try it once and see for yourself. Although, it’s quite a bummer this powder doesn’t have a measuring spoon. Yay for less plastic waste, I guess, but it's still an inconvenience to measure.
