First time buying this product and whey protein in general. It has a bit of a taste (creamy/milky) so it affects the flavours a bit. The powder is not clumpy and looks consistent with no impurities visible. No added sugar is great and I add it to my diet for increasing protein intake.
I like bobs red mill products but I was not as happy with this protein powder- it might be because I’ve tried 12, and I have a favorite but wanted to give this a shot for the $.
Clean ingredients wehy protein without added flavor. It's great for baking as well as addint it to food or drinks for the extra protien boost. Love the packaging as well, easy to keep in the fridge without taking too much space!
The taste is quite ok for a unflavored protein powder. Calories is low so you can have it everyday or every other day.
I bought this because I’d been looking for a clean whey that wasn’t priced super high and this is it. I make matcha protein shakes with it for after the gym, I add it to yogurt bowls and I’m excited to try it with baking soon! It dissolves pretty well if you mix it enough and the taste isn’t bad especially if you put it in something. My stomach feels fine even though this is the first whey protein powder I’ve used it’s pretty easy to digest luckily. I would highly recommend if you wanted a clean protein powder. I just wish it came in a bigger size!
this seems to be a high quality product, with minimal ingredients: just when protein. its taste is imperceptible in smoothies and I like the low calories to protein ratio, compared with a lot of protein powders out there. the whey makes my smoothies more light and fluffy in texture too. it's a good protein supplement in my low calorie mostly vegetarian diet.
Bob's Red Mill consistently offers high quality ingredients in their products. I use this whey in baking and in smoothies. The taste is great. The package is just the right size for staying fresh. I am on a low sugar diet, so I love that there is no added sugar to this powder.
I'm a bit lazy to use it everyday, but it has a pleasant taste, I can add it to all smoothies and cakes as well. the packaging arrived undamaged and protected, I will probably order more.
I really appreciate the 12oz size at the sale price. It allowed me to get several bobs red mill protein powders to try out so I could find my favorite. Honestly, I have mostly been using this to cut a super sweet big tub of vanilla protein powder that I was having a hard time getting down. Lesson learned.
