We use it mainly to add to other herbs for medicinal teas but can be made into tincture and salves as well. It has a strong flavor so I like it mixed with English Breakfast, Ginger and Peppermint personally.
I was hesitant about buying it, but I’m really glad I did. I didn’t even know burdock came in an organic option! I used to make it at home occasionally, but getting a great product like this is so much better. It’s cut into small pieces, so it brews faster and has a savory, delicious taste with a great aroma. The price is also reasonable for organic. Just a tip: it has a diuretic effect, so it’s better not to drink it in the evening if you want to avoid late-night bathroom trips. I’ll definitely keep purchasing this. I highly recommend giving it a try!
I think it’s good quality tea. Haven’t drunk burdock tea ever before. The taste is very specific, I’d say it has earthy taste. Not very pleasant to me, but I’ve drunk very bitter things before, so it’s acceptable to drink for health benefits.
Good quality root tea. Light taste. Use it daily mixed with dandelion root and drink it every morning. One of the benefits is the feeling of less bloated. Good size package and good value for money.
I used in my blend for digestion tea 🍵 I mixed it with some herbs 🌿 like marshmallow dandelion root fennel seeds milk thistle seeds yellow durck
This is a great tonic when made as a tea with licorice root and dandelion, with peppermint added for taste. I feel anti-inflammatory and prebiotic effects. Quality is great with this company. Highly recommend.
Everything arrived in perfect condition. The bag is tightly sealed with no damage. The size is just right. The flavor is earthy, slightly sweet, and pleasantly roasted lovely aroma for tea.
I have been looking into detox teas and this ingredient is in many. The amount that comes in the bag is great, i was not sure how to use this but found many recipes online and will start incorporating with other herbs to enhance more benefits and flavors but keep them organic and love the purity in quality and taste.
The benefits are amazing and I love having this in my tea cabinet. It’s got a different smell in the jar but you don’t get it when it’s mixed in with your favorite tea blends. I would encourage you to look up the benefits and add it to your collection too!
