I have been buying this exact bulk tea (the same size, 1 lb bag) directly from the maker, Frontier Co-op, for years. I was delighted to find it even cheaper here! For a smooth, mild brew, with no astringency, this one can't be beat. (And neither can the price.)

This black tea was for friends and family. The serving is large. It is a caffeine tea with a floral-y, slightly citrus-y flavor. It tastes very tantalizing. It's package is friendly because it will keep your leaves fresh. Do buy. Please like my comment if this helps you.
Oh I am so glad I decided to pay the extra money for this Organic Ceylon Black Tea from Frontier Co-op! The brand I bought for so many years lost it’s flavor and lift that I really love. This one is organic and I know , despite the bad press I have read lately about organic farming , that food free from pesticides and herbicides is the best thing. The flavor is intense and the lift is incredible. The price is not what I am used to paying but definitely worth every penny for quality, fast home delivery and ultimate flavor.
I bought some Ceylon black tea to brew kombucha, and the flavor profile of this loose-leaf tea pairs really well with fermentation. It has slightly floral, orangey notes, and after fermenting with this type of tea, the final result turns out very aromatic—floral, a bit peachy, and pleasantly bubbly. Just brew it and try it. The process is very simple—even if you don’t have experience brewing tea, it’s easy to make. The effort is minimal, but the taste is very expressive. The tea has clear floral and orange notes, and the overall profile is quite vibrant. The quality of this tea really stands out. Other teas, especially those from tea bags, can often be astringent or bitter, but that’s not the case here. As an added bonus, it’s organic. The ingredients are organic, and the way the tea is processed really makes a noticeable difference when using it for fermentation projects. This picture shows the final, delicious reward of brewing kombucha with Ceylon black tea.
Stocking up a little bit before tariffs affect tea prices. This is a good quality and good tasting basic black tea. I love it iced or hot and drink it daily. Frontier products are always the best. I've been using them since the late 90s. Highly recommend.
Wonderful black tea, robust and hearty taste. When you brew it is smells a bit like honey. Large leaves, very little dust in the bag.
It took me few days to get used to the ration of tea to water and to get used to the new taste. But now I’m addicted!
Good quality. Tastes so good. The size is very good.
I love Frontier brand teas and spices, they are always the best quality, best tasting, and this tea is no exception, I have been buying this, for many years this blend is simply excellent. the one pound bag provides many, many servings.
Haven't tasted it yet, but I consider this a value pack for the price I paid for the volume. The packaging does not come with a zip lock closure though.
