I am a hardcore vitamin C enthusiast, and have been for over 40 years. For immunity, for collagen production, it can't be beat. I use 10-12 grams of C per day (powder at home, this at work). This is gentle, effective and economical. Great stuff!
This is definately a non-acid and gentle form of vitamin C. I can take two or three at at time and it will not cause any symptoms in my stomach or urinary track. I can't tell if it absorbs better but the research suggest is does. Having bioflavinoids in the formular should help with absortion. Always take your Vit C with food to optimize absortion.

Regular ascorbic acid gives me stomach issues if I take more than 500mg at once. Reacta-C is a buffered, pH-neutral form of vitamin C and I can take it without any of that. It also stays in the bloodstream longer than plain ascorbic acid, which makes sense from an absorption standpoint. I take it when I feel something coming on or after long flights and it does what I want it to do. Solaray is a brand I trust. These caps are easy to take and the 120-count bottle lasts a while.

I take one capsule every evening for eye, skin, and tissue support. Solaray has been around a long time and always make good quality products. These capsules are a little big but I swallow them fine. I prefer this to a product containing just vitamin C because bioflavonoids are very synergistic with vitamin C and provide tremendous health benefits on their own.
