These are the best tasting figs I’ve purchased in a very long time. They are large, moist, plump and juicy. I’ve added them to my regular order. I’ve not soaked them yet, but I’m sure they’re perfect for than and will be delicious. I soak a few overnight in spring water with a whole clove or two, cinnamon stick and often a star anise as my mother did in my childhood. She often added prunes, raisins, apricots or other dried fruit. They can be simmered and served with hot grain cereal.
