I take this when I don’t have any greens on a busy day. It’s very drinkable. Easily dissolved. No strong fishy kind of smell. It’s slightly sweet which I don’t like.
Awesome greens, I've used this one on and off few times for last few years. Only negative I could think of is the taste is bit more sweet and for some it could be a problem.
I'm on keto, so I can't eat that much vegetables and this has certainly helped prevent nutritional deficiencies, great taste by the way, I just add water and turmeric in it. Definitely some high quality greens in it! Top notch organic ingredients too!
It does not have a weird taste at all. I take it whenever I’m too busy to cook veggies for myself. A bit pricey but convenient to use.
I may just be really sensitive to stevia, but to me this tastes like a tub of stevia with some greens in it. It's perfect otherwise (especially appreciate that it's organic and has no mushrooms in it) but I can't drink it as intended because it's so sweet. I instead use it as a sweetener.
Barlean’s Organic Greens are mostly a convenience supplement — something to help fill nutritional gaps on days when my diet isn’t perfect — and overall it’s been a solid addition to my routine. The ingredient blend is actually pretty impressive on paper. It combines grass powders like wheatgrass and barley grass with spirulina, chlorella, fruits, herbs, and some fiber sources like inulin and flaxseed, so it feels like a fairly complete “greens” mix rather than just powdered vegetables. It’s organic, vegan, and free from dairy, soy, and gluten, which is a nice bonus if you’re trying to keep things clean and simple. Taste-wise, it’s better than many greens powders I’ve tried, but let’s be honest — it still tastes like greens. Slightly sweet from stevia, a bit earthy, and much easier to drink when mixed into a smoothie instead of plain water. It mixes reasonably well, though you’ll still get a little texture if you just stir it. In terms of effects, this is more of a long-term wellness supplement than something you “feel” immediately. I didn’t notice dramatic energy boosts, but digestion felt a bit more regular and it’s an easy way to add some plant nutrients and fiber without thinking too hard about it.
Ive ordered this several times as they help my energy levels through the day. Taste is okay ( could be way worse) and super easy to take with any liquid.
