Organic Astragalus Root C/S, 1 lb (453.6 g)

These pieces are a nice and chunky size to preserve the value of the root, unlike other finely shredded ones I have found. My understanding is that the product loses medicinal benefit the more exposed it has been. These nice pieces can be blended myself to be finer ingredients and have higher medicinal quality.

Excellent Quality Organic Astragalus Root. Exactly what I wanted to add to the Organic Plant materials I use to brew my Magic Mushroom Tee. Works perfect when simmered in overstuffed tea bags.

The packaging is of a good size, shiny plastic bag that can be closed back. The root itself is chopped smaller than I imagined, may be 2-3 mm in size. The instructions say to use 1-2 teaspoons of this root on about 300 ml of boiled water. The taste is faint but pleasant. Regarding the benefits - it is supposed to be immunomodulator. I don’t feel any difference, but it is a long run game.

Combined with echinacea and ging seng for winter drink was awesome, very warming tea, good quality, I've purchased many herbs from Stawest and all have great ingredients, good packaging, good size bags

I took the powder form on last purchase and taking it half a spoon every morning with empty stomach. It improves your lung system, breath easier and has less allergy and cough. Astragalus roots is particularly good for the senior to improve their lungs. I try this because it is organic and hopefully has same effect as the powder package.

What an amazing taste this tea has! I honestly didn’t realize that I ordered tea, I thought it’s powder form of astragalus, but I’m very happy as I’m really enjoying this tea! Highly recommend

This is a great quality astragalus root with a clean, fresh look and a pleasant mild flavor. I appreciate that it is USDA Organic and that the only ingredient is organic astragalus root. The one-pound bag is also a great value and lasts a long time. I’ve been happy with Starwest Botanicals and would purchase this again.

I soak a teaspoon of the c/s roots over night then added to my food to improve my health by increasing the nutrient density of my meals.

I think this is my favorite tea now. Has a beautiful nutty, fragrance, and lovely taste. This needs to be drank consistently over at least two week period in order to see the benefits from my understanding.

I purchased this as an ingredient in my liver detox tea. Love the size of the bag. More than 100 servings. The taste is great. I put the package in a ziplock to preserve freshness. It is a great price for the amount. No caffeine. I drink it every day.
