This is a very good product, and the dose of 300mg is suitable for my needs. It helps to improve the problems of Peripheral Neuropathy. I purchased this brand after not being able to buy the brand I normally use. I have been pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this brand. I found Life Extention R-Lipoic Acid 240mg so helpful, I thought a brand with a larger dose would be even more helpful, but no. not this one. This made my pain worse, I stopped taking it for a while and felt better, started again and was clearly worse. It may be because I am very thin and my body can't handle such a large dose.

This is my first try with the more expensive variety of ALA. The only difference that I have noticed is the aroma of my urine is less strong. I'll take that as an indication that I'm not just making my pee more expensive. Hopefully this R process is allowing the supplement to more throughly metabolize, although I can't say I've noticed an improvement in symptoms for neuropathy.
