This product contains the patented formula "FloraGlo". Kemin who produces it has had clinical trails on efficacy in regards to skin. I have an auto immune skin disease and I use it (in a higher dosage)to keep my skin from bleeding. I contacted the company to assure my dosage was safe. Been using it for two years with great success.
Although I don’t take it daily, I use lutein as a preventive measure, in order to keep my eyes healthy. Moreover, lutein is thought to help in skin protection. This one is flora glo, so its quality is excellent. I also like the rest of ingredients (which are safe).

Not every night, however. As it stands, I set one soft gel a week aside for days off kale. Not several soft gels however, because that seems to be too many.
